This album includes performances from the Appalachian Jubilee; though some songs appeared on earlier CDs, these cuts are fresh.   Fred Moore's "Dixie Line" appears in a new version; there is a new duet ("Lousianna") with Carol Housner.  There are two Hank Williams songs,"Lonesome Whistle" with Lenny Zinn on pedal steel, and "House of Gold", recorded live at WMUC-FM.

I very much like the album. . . Your voice sounds excellent and I am impressed by your yodeling on "Lonesome Whistle."  The arrangements are non-cluttered and that is what my ear gravitates to.  Very nice to hear!   I also am impressed by some of the fiddle playing on Remington Ride and Mockingbird.  Really nice Sweet Georgia Brown ~ Good feel to it! — Dave Whitaker - Dobroist
